Today is the Global Meeting Industry Day - an international industry gathering. We , as the Turkish meeting industry ,  are celebrating this day in İstanbul  as all of our colleagues around the world  while we also aim to be heard and deliver  our messages  globally through live connections. This is an industry alignment showing the power of being together.

We have been passing through difficult times however we want to communicate to  the world that we have managed to' stay strong and intact  over this period. We have a lot of things to share especially with the  MICE industry. First we need to  accumulate /combine our  know-how, experience and industry knowledge internally and than share it  internationally .When we are together , there  are not any challenges which we cannot  overcome.

At this point, we need to be integrated with the world, follow the latest trends, be aware of and ready for the new industrial applications and regulations  ,. Our panels today  will be covering some of these topics  with the participation  of  very valuable international and national guest speakers. One of our panel discussion will be on GDPR  ,  the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, while we will also hear about the newest trends and innovations in the meeting industry from our keynote speaker. . This  will be an event  where industry professionals will come together to have first hand information oon such important subjects  .

At the same time, we have a panel on MPI & SITE where the global board members of both associations will join us.  We'will be able to  give  more deatiled information about MPI and SITE to our colleagues.
